The Think Tank Airport Bag Riddle?
Grover Sanschagrin, Photographer, Photo Editor
San Francisco | CA | USA | Posted: 6:10 PM on 06.11.10
->> Ok, I give up. I cannot figure out how to change the combination of the lock on my Think Tank Photo Airport International roller bag.

It's currently set to the default combination of "000".

Does anyone know the secret?

->> Maybe Google a manual for it?

If I remember correctly, there is a small button on it, like on the Lock It Up, that you can press and set a combo.

->> Set the dials to the original combination, in your case "000."

Use a pen to push in the small button on the side of the lock.

Change the combination to your desired code.

Push in the tabs on the lock to set the new code.

->> Grover, are you saying the combination O000 opens the lock? If so, Justin's instructions should work. My first TT roller got its lock reset to an unknown combo by being loaded in an overhead (randomly the tumblers apparently were rolled at the same time as the button was pushed in - the old bags had easier to hit buttons) and I had to have TT send me a new lock. This happened twice, and eventually they offered to replace my bag with a newer one.

It took a lot of guts to admit that here. It's like crying in a biker bar...

->> Folks we dont use the locks.. We only used the bags. YOu need a master or phd degree to figure that out.

We got two bags and spent over an hour and still couldnt do it.

If any of the folks who made the Think Tank are reading this then PLS make it a lot simpler so it can be use.. Nobody has got all the free time to play around with those silly locks. But I love your bags.

->> Robert we all could go that route but if we are paying and it comes with it then it should be more practical and simpler to change the combination locks. Right now is a bit difficult.

Besides that the bag rocks. I also could use backpack straps for one of mine too.
