Stuck D300 AF-on button
Daniel Berman, Student/Intern, Photographer
Seattle | WA | US | Posted: 4:02 PM on 06.11.10
->> Hey everyone,

Does anyone have some advice for fixing a stuck AF-on button?

It sticks when I depress the button, and I usually have to push it again to release it -- and this has been a real pain!

If this is not fixable myself, anyone know what Nikon might charge? I'm not an NPS member...

Thanks!

Daniel

->> I would recommend sending it to Nikon. You don't want to try putting any kind of lube on the button and risk having it seep into the camera. That could cause more trouble. Nikon will work on your camera if you're not an NPS member.
