->> very sweet! Can't believe the Hawks brought the cup to Chicago. I've seen the Sox win the World Series and now the Hawks win the Cup. It's good to be a southsider. ;) What a series it was.

*I think hell has frozen over officially now, the Cubs still don't have a world series. I'll try not to smile too much as I enjoy that. :)

->> Scott, nice shots, it was a blast shooting the clinching game last night (even as a Devils fan) and at least the Flyers didn't win...watching Chicago celebrate up close and personal was something I'll remember for a long time...

->> Congrats to Chicago... In three years the team has risen from "the dead" to win The Cup. Seriously, it's good for Detroit to have have some good competition back from Chicago.

However, after the celebration dies down, I took a peek at how things are shaping up for the Hawks for 2010-11. Holy red ink Batman!
http://www.capgeek.com/charts.php?Team=11 Even though they only have 9 forwards, 4 d-men, and one goalie (Huet) under contract for next year, they're already almost $800 OVER the cap!!! The defending team that takes the ice in October is going to look different than the one in the parade today!
