->> I remember John asking my advice regarding the freelance market at a tennis tournament at La Costa in the early '80s.
Just as heavy cream floats to the top John's talent floated him to the pinnacle of his profession with his staff position at Sports Illustrated.
I wish him a speedy recovery. |

->> Everybody,
After picking up John's wife from the airport and taking her to the hospital, we found out that he is going to be released from the hospital this afternoon, and might make the drive home in the passenger seat! The Doctor says he has a badly sprained neck along with some other aches and pains.
He has been walking on his own around the room, eating, drinking, and talking without issues. He will be fine.
John wants to thank everybody for there thoughts and prayers!
Take care. |

->> Get well soon.
Having suffered a serious neck injury before I know how painful it can be and hope John gets a quick and full recovery, if as some have said he has full neck movement then that is very good.
Hopefully he's back in the saddle for the finals. |
