Shinko CHC-S2145 printer

->> In the market for a dye sub printer, and I'm wondering if anyone can share their experiences with the Shinko CHC-S2145 printer. Good or bad.
Have used the Sony UPDR2000 and was very impressed with its capabilities. The reason why I'm considering the Shinko, because they are offering such as great deal with a free pelican case and free TEPS-X software for the Mac with a purchase of a printer.
I'm also worried about the availability of media since I've never really heard of Shinko as a brand.

->> Shinko has been around for quite a while. No need to worry about getting media..... I'll just toss this out there...... Jayne Oncea has a Mitsubishi 9550 and a decent load of media that she is selling. She's also on your side of the earth so the two of you may even be able to hook up and save on shipping..... just a thought.
BTW my 9550 has made a zillion prints and only needed a cutter replacement. I even did the job in house and was up and running in no time. Solid printer with good quality. |
