I mean, there has to be a time when the end justifies the means, isn't there? And, to be honest, it always surprises me when it comes up on the message board or elsewhere, since I feel like there's little room for debate ... but then I gotta remind myself that a lot of folks on here aren't journalists. Anyway, for me, it's simple: if your intent is to alter the truth or deceive the viewer in any way, shape or form (be that cropping, toning, deleting, etc.) then it's wrong.
