->> Ok I purchased two Mark IIN's used this past month. Both when I open files in photoshop they have the owners before name on the files in file info.
Any idea how to change this to my name? |

| ->> You need to use the EOS Utility program to make this change. |

| ->> You can also do this on camera. Go to the Yellow settings 1 tab on the menu screen (it is the middle one) and the third option down is file name setting, You can go in there and customize it or erase it. |

->> In addition to the EOS utility program Kevin mentioned you will need the fire wire cable (that hopefully came with the camera) to connect the Mark IIn to your laptop.
The Mark IIn has a USB port, but the EOS utility program requires a firewire connection to do the changes you are after. Thankfully, I think the Mark IIn is the last camera to require this configuration. Later models can do this via USB. |

->> Robert and Juliann,
Jesse is asking how to set the "owner's name" option for the camera. This is a setting that embeds the entered name into the IPTC/EXIF of each photo by the camera automatically. This can only be set using the EOS Utility program and cannot be set in camera.
This is different then the four-character filename prefex which can be adjusted on the camera itself as y'all mentioned. |

| ->> Kevin is right. I tried to do what Robert and Juliann suggested, but it could not be done. The EOS Utility program sounds logical although I haven't tried it yet. |

| ->> Yeah I didn't even know that you had the ability to build your full name into the camera settings. I automatically assumed it was concerning the custom file naming you can set on camera. I looked it up Kevin is definitely right, the EOS utility will allow you to do this/undo this. Sorry for the confusion |

| ->> Same here, I name the files with my name/initials, never knew you could put your full name in the settings. Something new everyday! |

->> Does anybody know were I can get the EOS utility program disk?
I searched in the box that the camera came in and all i have is the EOS DIGITAL Soultion Disk and EOS Digital Software manual. Or is it possible to download this feature so I can change the camera body name that appears in photoshop and not on the actual photo file on the memory card. |
