->> Anyone using A Photo Folio for their website? What's been your experience to date?
I'm seriously considering switching from my current supplier and want to explore options.
Thanks,
Dan |

| ->> I'm the process of making the switch right now after exploring lots of different site options. Hopefully it will go smoothly (I'm just trying to find the time to get it all done). One thing I'll say in support of Rob Haggart is that he responds to any questions right away and has been extremely helpful. |

| ->> Nicely designed websites, and I can't say enough about the customer service. Rob Haggart (the owner) promptly returned several phone calls to answer my questions when I was first setting my site up, and has responded quickly to all questions I have had since. Good online help manuals, and the setup is intuitive. I think they are a good value too, especially when you factor in a hosting fee that is not badly priced. It seems to me like a well run company. |

I think I uploaded some of the photos too large when I intialy set it up, beyond the recommended specs for the template, so some may load a little slower - but that might be my fault and I just haven't got around to updating some of the galleries.
otherwise I have no complaints.
once you have one site, if you want additional sites in the future it is 50% off the next one (unless that policy has changed)
I haven't used it yet, but they also have the ability to add video. |

->> They are hands down the best. Hell, he had the thing compatible with the iPad less than two weeks after it (iPad) came out! If you want something professional looking and powerful, this is it. I reviewed all the template sites on my blog, and he wins.

->> +1
I switched to A Photo Folio 3 months ago and love it. As others have stated, the support is first rate.

| ->> I'm sure some of us here at SS besides myself have been hit with the issues that affected Livebooks earlier this year. For those who are using A Photo Folio, how does their SEO stand up? What have you guys who have used them learned about their SEO strategy/implementation? |

| ->> I'm interested in their SEO as well. I had a LB site and my wedding site was ranked on the 1st page without me doing much of anything. I left LB because of their problems and their never ending nickle and diming for changes. Very interested in their SEO, that would be the difference to me. |

->> I switched from LiveBooks to A Photo Folio about a year ago. The main keyword I wanted to compete for was "new york wedding photographer". Under livebooks I was somewhere around the 7th-9th page on Google, and have now moved up to the 1st or 2nd.
It certainly wasn't all a result of their SEO, but it definitely hasn't hurt my ranking in any way.
I also really prefer the designs and customizable options. |

| ->> A Photo Folio has been great for me. Their designs, online editor and customer service have been top notch. The only negative thing I can say is that the photoclient delivery software isn't quite there yet. I like having it integrated into my site but Zenfolio is a lot more user friendly for delivering images. |
