SoCal Wedding Photographers: I need some help for a friend.

| ->> A good friend of mine and his wife are in an unfortunate situation. They got married almost 2 years ago. After their wedding, their photographer tragically killed himself, without delivering much of what they had ordered. Another photographer in the area supposedly took over the work, but has apparently gone AWOL and is unreachable, and my friend still doesn't have the stuff he ordered. He has the files (color corrected JPEGs) from the original photographer's estate, and is looking for someone to just do an album for him and his wife. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations in the LA area? |

->> how unfortunate, but lucky they got the files.
Are they looking for a "traditional" book or a coffee table type book? There are lots of places where they can do it themselves online and can have the book in 3 days. Email me if you are still looking and I can send some ideas their way with different styles and prices. |

| ->> I'm not a wedding photographer but I know that there are many services that allow you to do it yourself including iPhoto and Aperture which both have the ability to order beautiful color books. There are also other services that are webbased however I am less familiar with them. If your friend has a mac I know people that would be able to help him along in making a gallery, and would also be able to help him out myself, as I used to teach iPhoto and Aperture for Apple. |
