->> Anyone know of a cable that allows the TC80N3 intervalometer with the G10? Perhaps one that would work with a pocket wizard? Thanks

->> I made my own so that I can plug the 80n3 right into a pocket wizard or whatever else, still being able to use it straight to the camera as well. Basically I took the 80n3, cut the cable in half, took a headphone extension cable, cut it in half, and spliced those into each other so that the male end of the headphone cable comes out of the 80n3, and the female end goes into the N3. You could easily do the same thing with a submini extension cable. (Either cable is available at Radio Shack for $5, add a bit of electrical tape and you're at $6)
Here's the pinout for the g10 cable input: http://www.camerahacker.com/RS60-E3_pin-out/pin-out.php

->> And...
Usually the ground in the N3 is bare, the white wire triggers focus, and the red wire triggers the shutter. To fire, you just touch the ground to the red, and to focus you touch the ground to the white.
For the proper interface to the pocket wizard, the shutter (red) goes to the tip; focus (white) goes in the middle contact, and the ground goes to the back. Same for the G10 and submini (which Canon calls an E3).
You could also wire the cord to use it with a standard headphone and use an adapter (also available at Radio Shack) to get to submini for the g10. |

| ->> My "Cullen Cord" for the G10 works great with my Pocket Wizard...either triggering it (still or video modes) or as an intervalometer. |

| ->> Darren - doesn't the G9 have a built-in intervalometer? |
