Business Management Software

->> Hey all,

So I know about FotoQuote and FotoBiz, BlinkBid, PhotoByte, and all of the software designed to help me manage my assignment, stock, and client interaction. What I'm unfamiliar with is finance software that will help me manage my business account and keep track of my business in terms of expenses, profit, loss, and taxes. Does anyone have a program that they would recommend for keeping track of this information? Right now I'm operating entirely out of excel spreadsheets and it's not quite as well-managed as I'd like it to be.

There is a bit of a learning curve so it's best to talk to an accountant and have them set it up for you or at least go through the basics, but once you are done, you will save a lot of money in accounting charges with all the time you save your accountant. You can also back it up pretty easily.

Here is their web site...

Keep an eye out on Amazon.com and Office Max as they have insane deals from time-to-time on this. It retails for $179, but I was able to pick mine up from Office Max for $49.95. Good luck!

->> I use Quickbooks OnLine. One monthly fee no more silly upgrades and best yet, data is safe because it's stored on Inuit's servers.

I can even send invoices right from my iPhone

->> I use the Quicken Home & Office. I don't need the Quickbooks to keep track of inventory and such. This does the trick.
