What I'm unfamiliar with is finance software that will help me manage my business account and keep track of my business in terms of expenses, profit, loss, and taxes. Does anyone have a program that they would recommend for keeping track of this information? You can categorize all your expenses, deposits, keep a customer database and more. It creates very nice reports you can give to your accountant. There is a bit of a learning curve so it's best to talk to an accountant and have them set it up for you or at least go through the basics, but once you are done, you will save a lot of money in accounting charges with all the time you save your accountant. Keep an eye out on Amazon.com and Office Max as they have insane deals from time-to-time on this. It retails for $179, but I was able to pick mine up from Office Max for $49.95. One monthly fee no more silly upgrades and best yet, data is safe because it's stored on Inuit's servers.
