| ->> Anyone have any good suggestions for just an in- the -pocket point and shoot? Maybe one thats halfway decent in low light? Been looking at the Canon SD3500 IS but there are so many out there. |

->> I got this Samsung TL210 for my son . http://www.adorama.com/ISGTL210RD.html
I will alert you it takes a micro SD card, that was a bit of a surprise but other than that it is small and takes pretty good photos. |

->> Diana,
I really like the Canon S90. It is one of the few point and shoots that lets you shoot in Raw. Great in low light, 6.0-22mm/2.0-4.9 lens. I carry this everywhere.

| ->> I like the Canon G10, now the G11 is out. It's a bit larger than some other options, but it has a lot of features and takes great photos. Around $475 |

| ->> Diana, I loved my Panasonic Lumix TS1S. 28mm- 129mm equivalent range. Rugged body, goes underwater, takes a standard SD card, also shoots HD video. $249 at Adorama. |

| ->> I'd love the Canon S90 but at $400 I couldn't justify it so I went for the Canon SD1200 at less than $200. Very small, good quality files. |

| ->> I just purchased the Canon SD1400...it was one of the smaller models on display and the images looked pretty good. I have not shot low light but I would guess they will be fine...Sony has a new one also, and it has the panoramic picture feature BUT I stay away from the Sony stuff with memory sticks... |

->> Diana,
I shot all of the pictures currently up on my member page with a Canon G10. Shot in RAW. The camera is a bit large to fit in a pocket, but makes nice files. The higher ISO shots are way noisy compared to the files from my D3s. |

->> The s90 has the sensor of the g11 and fits in your pocket. It also shoots at f2.0 and the files look good up to 800 ISO. I highly recommend it.
Hope all is well -

->> Still shooting my old Canon G2 after all these years. I use it for the kids in my AFTERS class and have a lot of fun with it when I'm not carrying the DSLR.
What did Chase Jarvis say... "What's the best camera in the world? The one you have with you." |

| ->> I just got a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7. Manual controls if you want them, great HD video, really nice detail, and it can handle the SDXC cards when they become more mainstream (and cheaper). |

| ->> Get the S90 if you want to have a camera that not only fits in your pocket but gets you files you can actually use and maybe can make some money off. |

->> Yeah, I agree with Angel - admittedly it's not anywhere near an SLR in low light, but the files from an S90 in ideal conditions are pretty darn good, and could certainly earn back the extra cost of buying it in the first place! And yes, it's very small.
I had a Leica D-Lux 4 (aka Panasonic LX-3) that just didn't quite fit in my pocket, so I swapped for the S90 - the files from the Leica were probably a tiny bit better for sharpness, but if you haven't got the camera with you none of that matters...
