RC helicopter (our guess)? Some sort of boom? It's a great opening shot, and some co-workers and I are trying to figure out different ways of doing this shot.
The bricks are small, the lens is wide, it really doesn't look like the lens is more than about 20 feet off the ground, at most.
Thanks. |

| ->> Looks like that's it. But what about the tilt downward? The helicam doesn't appear to do that. |

| ->> My guess is boom. If it was RC heli they would of kept going. There was also no dust being blown around from chopper blades at the low altitudes. |

| ->> Ah, great point. That part of the world is DUSTY. The tilt is easily controllable with a boom. Boom Boom Pow! |

->> Looks like a 50' jib with an extreme wide-angle lens.
I have a buddy who's got one and shots like that are relatively easy.

->> You guys have it all wrong. This is obviously the right way to get the job done. They might've added a slight stabilization with a guyro or something though too.

->> A Techno Jib or other telescoping jib. Basically, the jib telescopes to get the "just above ground, approaching the stone" shot and then obviously the jib moves to a higher angle and pans. You never see more travel than a jib that is no more than 45' extended can't handle.
