What happens when a league folds?

->> I was curious if anyone knew what happens to rights of images shot when a league folds like the USFL, AFL NFL Europe or the World Football League?
For this question I will reference the Arena Football League as the most current example which folded and then re-formed under the AF-1 name and then changed its name back to the Arena Football League. They resumed play with some of the original teams and some new ones. When this occurs what happens the rights for the images that were shot for the original league? Along those lines what about the rights to the images for the teams that did not return or teams that relocated?
I am just curious if anyone knows the answer to this question. |

->> If they declared bankruptcy, there would have been a plan filed with the court that indicated how the league's property was disposed of.
