D3s video issue

->> Has anyone had a problem with yellow bars appearing on the video when shooting manual video on the D3s?

It looks like this.

I've tried changing the refresh when someone said it could be the lights cycling. Also it normally appears with apertures 1.4 to maybe 11. After that it seems to go away, but shooting that high of an aperture drives the ISO way up, and I'd rather not do that.

->> Chris,

I see that all the time under ugly indoor lighting on the 7D as well. You can see it a bit on this video (specifically at 0:47 with the player interview:

No worries - definitely not limited to the D3S, as far as I'm aware.

I love the option to get that sweet yellowed image on a hat/tshirt from TinyPic. May have to take them up on that offer!

->> I've shot anywhere from 1 second to 1/2000 of a second. They only thing that seems to make a difference is the aperture.

->> Weird... The banding doesn't change with changes in shutter? You've tried different lenses, etc? It's not present in stills?

->> I would (as a full-time video shooter for 10 years) guess it's a fluorescent lighting refresh-rate issue, coupled with the progressive-scan shooting format of these cameras. I've seen the rolling chroma-cycle, but I've never seen anything quite like that with standard interlaced broadcast cameras.
