G Drive external drives for video

anyone using the G-Tech G Drives for editing HD video?
I'm looking for a drive for HD editing, and i'm not liking the usual suspects. (WD, lacie)

the machine is a macbook pro.
any fresh thoughts?

->> I just got a EZ Quest Thunderpro enclosure with two 1 TB WD Black caviar drives and it is blazing fast. If you have eSata connections, get that one, the quad interface, but the firewire 800 connection is pretty good.You have to do a little DIY, but its worth it, and you feel smarter afterwards. Got them on OWC, $59 for the triple and I think $139 for the quad.

thanks a bunch for the recommendation.
i went with an OWC 2 TB dual bay raid drive. i'm using the eSATA connection via a eSATA mini card. this drive has a 64MB buffer. performs like the internal drive in terms of speed. it shipped for free overnight.
