Suggestions on which Think Tank bag to use as a diaper bag?
Brian Blanco, Photographer
Tampa / Sarasota | FL | USA | Posted: 7:11 PM on 04.05.10
->> OK, everybody my wife and I are about to share our home with a new addition, and this time it's not a puppy. This being our first child, she has managed to drag me to every baby store within a 200 mile radius and every diaper bag I've seen is, well... lacking.

She has already told me that my old worn-out, threadbare Domke is not a suitable diaper bag so I figure since she bought her diaper bag at the Coach store, I'm getting a Think Tank bag.

Now the question is... which one?

->> I'd go with Airport Check-In. Does not look like a diaper bag but should have plenty of room for changes of clothes, bottles, wipes and a few diapers while not being bulky. You can even use the plastic organizer bag that comes with it for storing wet clothes.

->> Congratulations. From what I hear about how often new babies go through diapers, you might want to think about this one...

->> Actually, I'd use the Domke bag for baby supplies and a diaper bag for your gear. That way, if a thief swipes your "camera bag," he'd be in for a surprise.

->> Congrats Jacob and Les. Yea, we're pretty excited around here too. I like Trimble's suggestion of the Urban Disguise 30. From the images I've seen online it looks like that may be the one.

->> Start with a used one. There is one available in the classifieds - http://www.sportsshooter.com/classitem.html?id=30603 You might be able to get it to double as a baby carrier.

Congrats!

->> I have an idea...what about using that ThinkTank bag that you 'won' with a FunPix of my gorgeous likeness not too long ago?

That way, you can carry around the diapers in a somewhat symbolic form - since you were full of what diapers hold when you said you'd share the prize with me.

(And, for those wondering, I'm completely joking with Mr. Blanco...though we really did argue in jest about who should get a FunPix prize - the subject or the "happy-snapper").
