->> That list of equipment coming to Sports Shooter Academy VII is by far the most extensive we have ever seen.

While we emphasize at The Academy "It's Not About The Gear"...the opportunity to check out extra bodies and glass to do remotes or give yourself a chance to use long glass so you have different look makes this experience all the more once-in-a-lifetime.

Thanks again to Bill Pekala, Ronal Taniwaki and Nikon not just for providing this unbelievable list of gear but for making the Sports Shooter Academy TUITION-FREE for students and making it more accessible for working photographers to attend.

Their commitment to this workshop is a tribute to their dedication to students and to photography education.

->> I am so excited for my handful of friends that are going to be attending this workshop. Wow. At SSA VI we had a lot of gear, but this is amazing. Wow. Everyone should be able to get exactly what gear they want. That said, be there are 9 or 10 or whatever time they open in the morning, so you can get exactly what you want.

Piece of advice people: Plan the gear you check out based on what kind of images you want to make. I know that sounds obvious, but remember, you will have to drag that long glass around all day and if you're not using it, someone
else could have!

It may not be about the gear but it certainly won't hurt to have access to Nikon's best cameras and lenses. For Nikon shooters this will be an absolute kid in a candy store experience.

Although you will all have access to this gear, be cautious not to overwhelm yourself. While three bodies might make you look ultra-pro, feeling comfortable and mobile will ensure that you roam the grounds and really look for pictures from different places.
