We know it's possible for cameras to output RAW format video (RED), and that the convergence of video and still is happening, even if it never completely combines the two. We also know that this is happening from both ends, where a video camera (the RED again) can output high resolution stills from it's video (12mp, aps-c sensor). So, my guess is that it's only a matter of time before RAW video on still cameras is a possibility. I can't wait. |
