What camera stores are open?

->> I am in need of a Canon Fisheye BUT my normal places are closed for the Holidays. BHphoto, Samy's, Adorama etc. I need this for early next week so need to get it on order in a day or so. I have found some but don't really want to pay a $50 plus premium or am worried about the bait and switch tactics and some of the places.
Who do you know is open, this also has a rebate and can be had for $604 including shipping and a few but they are closed.

Called most places today in the area... the Melrose (Hunts) store said the Boston store "had" one but when I called them they could not locate it.
I will try them again tomorrow to see if I get someone that actually "looks" for it. Other places are very pricey, compared to Adorama etc. But then "he who hesitates has lost" so I might need to poney up.

->> This is why joining one of the pro services can be lifesaver. I can't imagine having enough use of a fisheye to justify the expense, but I could cover the FedEx tab for an as-needed loaner easily.
But then again the is a hindsight suggestion. |

I agree, however the plan for this lense is to be used in a hockey net camera box. I can and have rented this lense many times but would rather not use a rental or loaner in this manner. I have actually had an offer to borrow this but would rather not based on the intended use. If it gets wrecked I would rather it be mine.
On a side note as I was calling around for this I found an IN STOCK Mark IV..... Can't get another just yet

I buy 90% of my gear there, Its a real Camera Store and he matches or beats the others, usually with out asking , his prices are good

Now just need to finalize the mounting in the net this week-end, in between some baseball games and other hockey games, but should be good to go.
