->> Winter sports are almost over. We killed off our last HS basketball and one of three remaining hockey teams tonight. The hockey will wind up in the next ten days or so, but we have the real chance of covering hockey, dirt track racing, and the usual spring sports at the same time. Time to start rebuilding the Vitamin D depleted body, and start hunting up the shorts that are at the bottom of the laundry pile
As an aside, I always wonder how other states manage to finish their seasonal schedules before we do here in Pa. The state football championship games were the week before Christmas, basketball will be the weekend of the 26th, track and field are always Memorial Day weekend, and baseball is sometime after graduation.
