->> i got into a what-if discussion with one of the writers yesterday regarding names for his under-construction child. The initial question was this: Is Elliott a proper name for a hockey player?
It evolved into what players have names that are right or wrong for their sport, and what celebrities should be playing what sport.
First contestant - former Steelers backup QB Brian St. Pierre. All wrong for football, but a perfect hockey name.
Second: Travis Kirschke - possibly no more perfect football name, except Brett Kiesel.
Third: Actor Slim Pickens. Should have played short for the Sox
