Drobo S vs SmartStor NS4600 NAS

->> I currently have a 2nd Gen Drobo hooked up via FW800 to my MacPro that I use to keep my archived photo and video files on for Aperture and Final Cut. The Drobo has been fairly reliable, but did give me some fits in the early days of Snow Leopard. Its just not fast enough to keep up though.
I am pushing some large amounts of data with my 5D ProRes footage now, so I am looking to upgrade to something with Gigabit ethernet or eSata connections.
Currently trying to decide between these two.

The 4600 does seem to have some useful features out of the box, and its cheaper, but wondering if any of you have used either of them |
