->> Funny detail in the "Hockey Net Cam for sale" in our classifieds....
Also included with the protective housing?
-1 canon fisheye with crap beat out of it. The af/mf focus switch is broke off, the lens hood on one corner is bent and has a scuff on the front element that is not noticeable in photos. |

| ->> Washington Capitals Alex Ovechkin busted a camera box open with a shot. I think it was during the game against Pittsburgh prior to the start of the olympics and you could see the camera and pocket wizard dangling out. maybe the lens came from that net cam. |

| ->> Jonathon I believe that the box that he hit was the 'newer' design. While I'm sure that it is cheaper to make and thus sell, I'm not convinced that it is as strong or as solid as the older one piece design. Just my opinion. |

->> The "newer" design is being "re-evaluated" as I was told yesterday when I asked questions about how this holds up. Did not look very protective to me. This is relative to the one sold by http://www.hockeynetcam.com/
The one in the classifieds is not the same, totaly different design all together, not sure how the lexan attaches hoping to find out soon.
In the mean time started to design my own being discussed in this thread

| ->> I tired to order a cover for one of the ver 1.0 boxes this morning. Dan informed me that they are no longer producing the covers for the original netcams and that getting one made would be in his words "extremely prohibitive". So if anyone is buying an older netcam that was made by Dan just be aware that covers can no longer be had. |
