->> Peter - my same thought and mentioned it in the other thread here at SS. The schwag CPS sends out is mostly junk that few need - daytime, pin, caps, etc... This mug would be great. Heck, I'd chose the mug alone over the other stuff. I have a CPS loaner lens coming soon and earlier today when I checked in to makes ure that it was still on-schedule, I sent CPS the link to that PDN story and not-so-subtly hinted that they look into the mug as schwag.
I can see it now... I am doing a post shoot camera gear clean at the kitchen table with my morning coffee. All the lenses are out there and a I grab the coffee pot for a refill and whoops!... I pour it right into the front element of my 70-200. Yikes! |

->> I understand Canon's use of white lenses for reflecting heat, but wouldn't you almost want a black Nikon one to attract hear and keep your beverage warmer for longer? Just sayin'...
FWIW, I use one of these: http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442...
Best $30 I've ever spent. It'll keep your tea hot for hours! |
