Does this idiot think that just by spamming his listing with every sport/activity/whatever on the planet... that Google is going to make him #1 for "caynoning photography"?
It looks like a very lame attempt at SEO spamming. Is the air really THAT thin in Denver? |

Your seriously worried about guys like this cutting into your pockets? I'm not. Maybe its just me, but I dont think any of my customers are searching Craigslist for photographers.
If I cant out shoot or out market this guy, then its time for me to re-evaluate my game, not his.
I know a guy that will paint your car with Krylon for $85, do you think the body shop up the street is worried about him? |

->> How do you know this guy is not a legitimate Shooter that lost his job???
There's many out there!!
While you make fun of him, he's probably laughing all the way to the bank!! If he gets 10 parents to cough up $45 per game, he walks away for $50 per game!!
Remember now it's not whether staffers will loose their jobs or now, but "WHEN" they are going to loose their jobs. You make fun of these guys that are making the tough decision to stain in Photography rather than Flipping Burgers at McDonald's, and these might be the guys that you "MIGHT" be competing against when YOU loose your job, but by the time you loose your job, he will be established in all the local schools and you might have to try Burger Flipping to pay your Mortgage!!
How's that for a reality Check??
Within 3 weeks of loosing my job in January 2005, I had a Business plan and I was ready to hit the customers and get jobs on my new Freelance Venture, I was terrified, but now, I'm set!! Welcome to freelance.
Y
PS, I do make more than $250 per event!! MUCH MORE!! |

While that is true, it says nothing in the ad that this is required, so he apparently is willing to do a game for $45.
If I lived in Denver I would stage an underwater rugby game and make this guy shoot it for $45. |

->> OK, Guys.
If you lost your Incomes, like it's likely to happen to some of you....
What would you do to feed your family???
Personally, I wouldn't do what this guy is doing, but WTF???
He's not sitting at home collecting Welfare, that as a Tax Payer, I'm paying for!!! He's out there hustling for money!! Some of you might find your selves in the same position sometime very soon if things keep going like they're going for newspapers!!
FWIW, I much rather give this guy my money than Lifetouch!! I would much rather help a shooter that lost his job than Lifetouch!! |
