->> A side note to the game - if you heard what seemed like booing at certain times it was in fact the Canadians cheering the goalie Roberto Luongo ----- LOU LOU LOU !!! Some of the broadcast people didn't explain it to well.
Great day for Canada and for hockey. |

->> This is what Olympic hockey should be all about.
Two GREAT teams battling like Titans.
It's unfortunate there has to be a winner and a second place finisher.
Team USA and Team Canada gave us a Gold metal hockey game to remember!
Congratulations to both Teams!!! |

| ->> I didn't realize they were playing in the Canucks' stadium until today. I think the smaller ice made for better games but that's just me. |

| ->> Unfortunately, I was busy working during the game, however I was able to hear the final moments when the USA tied it up. I was unable to watch or hear the OT. Being Canadian and can only say, OH CANADA! |

| ->> Wow, after watching, in toto, the first game, I was impressed with this game as well. Good for us to shove it into overtime and make it a true Gold Medal match that will be talked about for years to come. I heard that our goalie, Miller, was named MVP. Anyone else hear that???? |

| ->> This is probably one of the best hockey games i've seen in the last couple of years. No fighting, just a fast paced game played by the best in the world, it was a pleasure to watch and what a regulation time ending. |

| ->> The lack of TV time outs made the game fly by. Fast paced, action packed. Glad it didn't go to a shootout either. |

| ->> I was covering a basketball game and it was pretty funny. The sports info director for the home team came into the media area and told everyone NOT to say anything about the hockey game because he was DVRing it at home and didn't want to know the outcome...the hockey game and the basketball game started and ended at the same time.....anyway, since he's a good guy everyone respected his wishes and only made whispered comments when we heard who won. It was all good until this security guard comes running in and yells, "Wow We lost in the second OT!! What a GREAT game!" I thought the SID was going to strangle him. |
