Waivers for using remote cameras?

->> I have a shoot planned this weekend where I will be using a remote camera that will be in a somewhat hazardess position...on a motor vehicle. Now of course I intend to have it properly mounted as well with safety cables, placed with the riders safety in mind. However in a worst-case scenario and something does go wrong-even if it is not directly related to my camera being mounted on their vehicle- am I in legal danger? Is there any way I should go about this? A signed waiver? A written agreement between myself and the athlete? Or is this just one of the risks using a remote camera?
I know from the paintball world that waivers hold very little legal power in court, however I am unsure what to do in this case....thanks for the help! |
