->> This is really really interesting. An open sourced digital camera. Maybe we can finally get a full frame 1D without having to pay $8000.00. Just kidding....maybe. The article talks about being able to fix focus after the fact, similar to RAW images and exposure, as well as the possibility of 3d photos, doing a lot of things you do in photoshop but doing it as you shoot, and craziest of all, "sense photography". Most of what it talks about is obviously out of the question as far as journalism, but its interesting to think about just where digital photography in general could go.
