->> After shooting a great playoff game for my paper, I find out that the lone surviving phojo position is cut to half time. Could stay FT if I pick up the open writer slot.
Man, am I glad the ole college paper made all the shooters take 2 semesters of news writing (thanks K-State),,, now, where did I place that stylebook from 1991 (?#$&)
This could actually be a good thing to re-learn some skills. |

I agree with Jeff, multiple skill sets are very important. |

thanks! |

Is it true that when you first started your photojournalism career the AP Stylebook was in Latin? |

There are several possible answer I could go with:
A. I don't remember
B. Did we use Latin on stone tablets? |

It's perfectly understandable that you don't remember. The original AP Stylebook was in Aramaic.

->> I love my stylebook, but I'm sometimes baffled by the seemingly meaningless "updates." For instance:
"Joe Smith of Provo walks his dog in the park..."
is now...
"Joe Smith, of Provo, walks his dog in the park..."
Where the heck did those commas come from, and what do they want??? |

Imagine the confusion...
"Prince of Minneapolis shakes hands with the Prince of Wales at the Prince's Trust concert." |
