And here we return to the sad and troubling subject of Todd Drexler and Sideline Sports ....
Thomas, thanks for providing a link to that thread from last October .... (and if I give you a pitchfork, will you run around with it? .... just asking, you know ..... )
Anyway .... as an update on the "Todd issue" - Todd has still not paid me for my work at the Big South Conference Baseball Tournament from last May ... and he still has not paid anyone that I know. I DO know that he called several people AFTER that thread hit and "committed" to paying them - one person I know was promised to be paid by December. I also know that that did NOT happen and now Todd is not returning e-mails to that person .... so Todd made a brief appearance in the sun AFTER he was basically called-out in the "WARNING ..." thread, but now he's back underground apparently ....
So .... please let this be a "re-issue" of the warning to all photographers in the Southeast .... if Todd Drexler or Sideline Sports contacts you about shooting for him - shooting ANYTHING for him! - RUN, people !!!! If he contacts you about shooting any events or conference tournaments for the Big South Conference, the Atlantic Sun Conference, the Southern Conference - RUN, people !!!! Todd already owes so many people so much money for work done for him over this past year !!!
This warning is re-issued not to keep Todd from working ... (God knows the man needs to work A LOT to pay the people he owes money to!) .... but to prevent Todd from doing to other photographers what he's already done to numerous other shooters (including me) over the past year or so: specifically, not paying for work.
Again, if you've shot for Todd Drexler and have NOT been paid for your work, please contact Willis directly via e-mail .... |
