Display Lines on the Canon 1D4 LCD

->> This may be a noob question but I have not read
anything about it in the manual and tried searching
the internet for info about it but came up empty.
What are the 2 dark gray vertical lines for on the
camera LCD when displaying images? Only appears
when viewing images from the LCD not actually in
the image itself. They appear about 1/2 inch from
each side. They are not an LCD defect as they don't
show up when you magnify the image or view other
LCD displays like the menu.
When I first took some shots I don't remember them
being there but somehow I've enabled something.
Anyone know offhand? I can always just reset to
factory default settings but I'd like to know what the
heck they are.
Very happy with the camera so far but not so sure
about it's cold weather capability. I was shooting at
a farm this past weekend with the temp about 10F
with a 10-15 mph wind and the focus locked up on
me a few times. Unfortunately, I only had my 70-200
zoom so I don't really know if it was the camera or
lens. Haven't been able to reproduce it.
Thanks.

| ->> My MarkIII has a feature that allows me to set an aspect ratio for the image and has two blue lines to show me where the image would be cropped - maybe you've enabled that. |

->> Ahhhhh, thank you so much! I had set that up a few days
ago when I was going through the settings that the SI
photographer had posted. Totally forgot about it. |
