| ->> I have been using Memorex 52X 700MB 80 Min CD-Rs for years. Recenty, it seems I have been getting more and more "rejects" on both my desktop and laptop, so I don't think it is the drive. What CDs are you using and have you had any similar problems with Memorex CDs? |

->> I'm a huge fan of discs from Taiyo Yuden. I've never once had a bad one or failed burn, and they're relatively cheap when purchased online as well. (And my MBP is very picky about what it will/won't burn.)
I could be wrong, but I believe that they were the inventors of the writable or re-writable discs. |

| ->> I use Taiyo Yuden CD/DVDs as well as the Delkin Archival Gold DVD media. I buy the TY disks from Rima.com. |

| ->> Thanks for all the suggestions. I did try a cleaning CD and that seemed to help a bit, but I did place an order for a spindle of the Taiyo Yuden CDs. |
