| ->> If you have Photo Mechanic, it will read actuations if you have added that variable to the EXIF. Other software can do it too, but PM is the one most suggested. |

->> Depends on the camera. Some you can read the number with programs like Photo Mechanic. There is a utility I have called 1Dcount.exe that will read up to a 1dMKIIn. I think its more challenging with a MKIII, and I really don't know about the Nikon bodies.
I also recently came across this online viewer. It reports shutter count and much more on the 1D files I sent up as a test. http://regex.info/exif.cgi |
