Did not see a post, but they are priced just over 400 dollars and have the option to include their receiver that plugs into the top of the unit for 29 dollars.
Using the action setting (320ws) you will get a T1 of 1/2000!
The normal B800 is 1/1100.
Not sure of the real difference between digital and analog but these look promising. |

| ->> Yes they do Matt. I returned my AB1600s just so I could grab a lower t.1. I use many speedlights now, but those Einsteins look like they were made for me and hockey... |

| ->> The 1/2000 duration in action mode is at 1/2 power. With these the duration goes down as the power goes up so at full power it will more likely be around 1/1000 (I couldn't see any real specs for duration at full power). The AB-800 has a duration at full power of 1/1100. Pretty much the same. |

->> Randy, the Einsteins are 640w/s strobes, ie the AB1600s. Matt was referring to the 320w/s or 1/2 power of the Einsteins for the T1. So they aren't quite the same.
I would be interested in hearing about these once they are available. Might be an alternative to the Elinchrom 300s or 600s depending on usage. |

->> With their new reflectors you should have plenty of power. Their 11 inch reflectors produce a really narrow beam.
Geoffrey,
you are correct, at 1/2 power or 320w/s you will get a T1 which is double that of the normal B800 at the same power.
That seems like it would be perfect for sports like hockey and of course bball. |
