Of course I find it interesting that the message of the commercial is that you need to be the best, not the cheapest to succeed, yet at the end Office Depot says that they will always have the lowest prices.

Still, it shows that if you can produce a quality product, you do not need to give away your product to succeed.

Most people are not looking for the cheapest price - no matter what they say. In fact, most of them will spend considerably more. I've said this before: The secret is to give them more than they feel like they are actually paying for.

That is what establishes value, otherwise known as the biggest bang for one's buck. That's the magic of marketing and merchandising.

It's simple, but it isn't easy.

Let the idiots that think low price is everything deal with the bottom feeders.
