->> Too funny; got the email (and saw the flash version) after getting back from my shoot. Looks very good (I have the Hydrophobia for my 500 and love it).

That said, these work great, and are compact, cheap and disposable:

->> Is it me, or does $140 bucks for a rain sleeve seem extremely pricey? I love TT products, and can see it is constructed well.
But the Op/Tech Rain Sleeve for flash that Michael pointed out are less than $6 bucks for 2.
I've been using a cheap storm jacket for years, and just pull my rain coat hood over the back of the camera and get great coverage.
I was just a bit shocked when I saw the $140 price tag. OUCH!

->> I got one a couple of days ago for a shoot this weekend where is it supposed to rain heavily. It is pricey but its well made and thought out. The only problem I see the the internal strap that goes around the lens gets in the way of the zoom ring on my short glass, its great with my 70-200 though.

$140 for the bag is a bit spendy but nothing compared to $35 for a $.04 injection molded eyepeice.

->> Randy,
It fits easily on a Canon 1D 2 with the 70-200 and a 1.4 converter. With all that, the cover extends about an inch past the lens shade, which is probably four more inches on top of the lens and extender. The instructions say to use the lens shade with the cover.

I can't see you having any sort of problems. When I have a chance I'll see if it works on the 100-400.

->> Hey folks, here's my best impersonation of a local news reporter during a "weather event" reviewing the ThinkTank Flash 70-200 Hydrophobia.

I gotta say, it's tough to keep a good cadence going and not have to splice when you're being pelted in the face with snow and sleet!

Works fine. Love the built-in camera strap.
