One Last 5D Mk II Video Question ... wireless audio...

->> ....OK so you folks all seem to think that Sony's WCS999 sucks. The $150 price tag is attractive for a starter kit to figure out what I'm doing with audio.

I'd love to pick up a $500 wireless lav mic kit, but its just not in the budget, or even close to the budget. What suggestions might you folks have for an affordable single wireless lav mic kit?

->> If budget is your main concern then look at the AudioTechnica Pro88. It's VHF but has very clean audio and is still quite inexpensive. I have two of them and they work quite well. You will want to get different lav's though as the stock ones are crap. The AudioTechnica AT35 will do fine and they are usually around $50. I use them for knock around use and the more expensive Pro70 for "quality" interviews.
