->> My old np-e3 batteries are exhausted and i need to buy new ones.
I have two original Canon and two 3rd party (something from ebay) that i wasn't so satisfied with it.
I'm trying to save some bucks here and not to pay over 100$ for a genuine battery thus i'm trying to find a decent replacement.
Can anyone recommend any specific replacement that won't die after a few hundreds clicks?! |

| ->> I had a couple of Delkins. They lasted a reasonably long period of time, but developed problems where they would no longer seat properly in the slot. My Canon batteries lasted twice as long and always fit right, so I decided not to buy the knock-offs again. |

->> I've had a couple of Delkins for a while now and have been happy with them. The end cap that they come with does cause them to not seat properly sometimes.
If you've got old genuine batteries you can swap out the end caps and the 3rd party batteries will seat perfectly. I called Canon and ordered a few extra end caps for this purpose, though they were a little on the expensive side... |

->> Most knockoff batteries have one of two problems...
1) loose end caps. they don't fit right and aren't weatherproof.
2) won't charge or hold a charge right.
Best bet: buy a few of them, then test which ones have which problems. Then? Switch their end caps. Return the ones that wont hold a charge and no longer have good end caps
Or
Get ones that charge right, and then take the caps off your old np-e3s that don't hold a charge anymore, and switch those.
That has the added bonus of weathersealing your mk2 properly again.

->> Yep... That was my problem also the end-caps and as some of you suggested i switched it with the ones of the original np-e3.
I'll try to check out those Lenmar's and see what is the price difference and if it worth it.
Thanks
