Oddly enough, it rains like the devil throughout the night, then gets sunny by like noon.
W00t for winter. |

| ->> Even here in Palm Springs where we have something like 350 days of Sun per year it has been wet and dreary. I postponed two shoots this week until next week. And not looking forward to my drive into L.A. on Thursday. Oh well... |

| ->> It just saw an episode of "It could happen tomorrow" on the weather channel and it talked about these storms that come in being worse than years past combining with melting snowfall from the mountains leading to catastrophic flooding in parts of California. I hope that is not the case. The interesting thing is a similar show was produced by the weather channel about a hurricane flooding New Orleans, it was scheduled to premiere the week after Katrina hit, they held the show off for almost a year before showing the episode coupled with post katrina coverage. Best of luck in Cali. |

->> Quit whining! Here are some weather stats for 09 in Ketchikan:
Most rainy days in a row: 44 Oct 14 to Nov. 30!!!
Rainiest day: 5.12 inches on Sept. 10.
Total Rainfall for 2009: 149.28 inches (about 12.5 ft)!
This is below our average of 152 inches.
So until you start measuring rain in feet, I don't want to hear it! :) |

| ->> Of course the weather turns to dung the day I turn my Jeep in for some repair work and I get stuck with a Malibu. Mind you I haven't driven anything this low to the ground in more than 15 years. How do you people get by? Be safe everyone and enjoy the weather for a change. |

->> My wife and I were driving up I-5 and Route 99 last night. Wind and rain so hard I had to slow WAY down to about 70mph!
I felt like I was living in a real life video game, though. Huge tumbleweeds the size of large Christmas trees blowing across the highway, slamming into trucks and cars (including ours), and everyone was trying to weave in and out of them.
We survived - barely. |
