| ->> That's kind of a crap shoot... but I agree that he took too long before taking evasive action. If he moved backwards and the car jumped the barrier it could have still rolled into him. I think the "safest" option should have been to dive down and use the height of the jersey barrier to protect you. When I'm shooting the drop gate in Turn 1 at Indy that's what I mentally tell myself to do if something breaks loose in front of me. Fortunately, I haven't needed to do my "prairie dog" move out there yet. |
