->> I was lucky and got my hands on a Mark IV for the week-end thanks to www.lensprotogo.com. They got one today and it was in my hands within an hour of them opening the box.
I just shot the womens Hockey game at Fenway and I am more than impressed. I have not gone through the images in detail but compared to my II and IIN it is a more than a great improvement. I was shooting at ISO 800 at 800 and they look far better than the similar shots I shot with my IIN. This is also with NO custome changes or anything. I litteraly picked it up and went to Fenway no manual nothing, just used it out of the box in manual mode.
I have a youth hockey game in a typical youth rink tomorrow then a college game tomorrow and Sunday night so this is were I will be able to directly compare the settings and the difference.
No Focus problems at all from what I can see, what are not in focus is operator error.
Just anothers view on this camera, not scientific but there are other places that have more time for that.
I do know that this is on my list as soon as I can get my hands on one.
Fenway was fun too shoot at especially for hockey and it was snowing most of the game so the images are very unique. |
