->> I work with Photoshop every day, but forgot why I bought the Extended version last time I upgraded (CS3). Anyway, I've always wondered what those "extended" features -- especially the animation ones -- actually did.
Last month I noticed an organization called Kiva was looking for videos to explain their charitable organization. I thought it'd be a perfect opportunity to finally figure out PS Extended, and help out a worthy organization at the same time.
I did it using a handful of programs, but the workhorse for the animation was PSCS3 Extended. There are undoubtedly programs that are more tailored for creating animations, but I used what I had, and enjoyed getting something completely different out of Photoshop.
Let me know what you think, and if you've used the Extended features on projects:

Full disclosure: There's a reward for videos that get the most views, but really -- really! -- I'm posting this to hear what others think of the Extended feature set, as it seems like an interesting tool. |
