Looks like I'll be able to get to 500,000 with fewer CF changes ;> On a more serious note, I have one D3 on 2.0 for day/bright and one on 2.01 for night/dark as I felt that 2.01 did a better job of getting and holding focus in dimmer environments but the opposite to be true in brighter locations. Y! if you need it I have 2.0 archived as it disappeared from Nikon's site as soon as they released 2.01 and now when I went looking 2.01 is gone and 2.02 is the only thing available. Trust me and keep a copy of the previous working FW handy just in case you discover that the newest version is equally successful for what you are shooting. Have not done my D3X (no change to WB in that body with the new firmware). Still not as awesome as my D3S...that body is incredible.
