Things not to buy in 2010

->> A Yahoo story talking about things not to buy in 2010 that could go obsolete in the coming year and about half way down it lists newspaper subscriptions. That could mean trouble for a lot of us on here. I was also shocked that they listed compact digital cameras saying DSLR's could make them obsolete. Here's the link if you wish to read

->> Compact cameras aren't going anywhere, especially not in the next year. Hell, I, and I'll bet many other photographers, try and have one just in a pocket for all those day-to-day times when I wouldn't have a DSLR with me for whatever reason.

Newspaper subscriptions, on the other hand, are anybody's guess. :/

->> I read that story also. What a joke. It really reads like one of those stories written by computer. I have Netflix and I still buy some dvd's if it something I really like and will watch again. Same goes for cd's, maybe its just me but having a physical copy of something is handy at times. External hard drives? Maybe just because I'm in photography, but I just can't see uploading everything I have to the all mighty "cloud." Google phone taking over the world? It may be good but I just don't see that happening.

Something I don't see buying in 2010 is the stupid opinions some of these people are trying to sell.

->> Well I might just buy everything on this list to keep people working.

The only thing I know people won't be buying in 2010 is Windows ME. Everybody hated that OS.
