Before you head out and buy new remotes, call up Paul C. Buff and see if they can repair them. They are very good about repairing their products and/or replacing them free of charge. Their customer service is amazing. Many companies would do well to emulate them. At the very least you might have some working remotes that you could sell and use the money to get different remotes.

Their CS is amazing for a company that sells quality products like they do.

Look at the bottom of this page!!

http://alienbees.com/remotes.html

YOu can trade in your Radio Remotes one system toward the Cyber Synch System!!

"ATTENTION RR1TX and RR1RX RADIO REMOTE ONE UNIT OWNERS!

Customers who have purchased any RadioRemoteOne units (not to be confused with the RFT1TX/RFT1RX) are now eligible for a 25% discount on the CyberSync Remote Control System in equal quantities. For example, if you bought 1 RR1TX and 3 RR1RXs (4 Radio Remote One units), you are eligible for a 25% discount on four CyberSync components (CSR, CSRB, CST, CSR+, and CSRB+). This will also apply to the Cyber Commander when it becomes available."

They also can be used for remotes, but you can't use them in a motordrive mode, just single shots.

They have been a good and cheap alternative to PocketWizards for me.

->> Upgrading is not an option.
Repairing them is prolly out of the question too.
Pocketwizards are out because the strobes are mounted in the rafters of a bball court and I dont want to deal with going up to replace batteries.

I work full time for a University so its under their dime. I just need to know an exact part to replace this broken remote so that all the Alien Bees fire using the White Lightning RadioReceiver Ones mounted to them.

I cant find the exact remote online, I'm guessing they are too old. So what can I get to make the WL fire?

Then look into the CyberSync receivers that plug into the flash head's AC plug and operate without batteries.

I believe there are AC adapters for Pocket Wizards. I once used a set of six lights hooked up to a Pocket Wizard. We turned it on with a garage door opener. After about two hours it would shut itself off, but you could hit the garage door opener again, it would start the timer again before they shut off. No trips to the rafters to turn the lights on.

->> I don't want to speak for Jesse but the advantage that these units had over straight PW's was that the transmitter allows you to address and adjust each light individually. The new Cyber Sync product does this too, I don't know if they are compatible.

This was a cool feature for me when I was using them in some hs gyms that had large banks of windows. As the sun would set I could turn up the output on the left bank as that was the side of the gym that would fall into a deep shadow. By the time the varsity came on, the sun was down and I could balance the heads back to even. It was super easy.

->> Eric hit it! I am simply looking for the exact model or a "newer" model that will work with what I already have mounted in the gym.

Is there a newer model that is less likely to break??? I have gone through 2 of the Radio Ones, both breaking where the cord connects.

If you're looking to stay with the same unite. It looks Yamil has a solution for you. You can trade up (
http://alienbees.com/rft1trade.html) and looks like most people like the cybersyncs. Also worth noting, Buff is coming out with some lights that have remotes integrated. and I think they are adjustable from the master transmitter.

Trading up isn't what I'm trying to do. I want to keep the units mounted, I just need a new remote.

My apoligies. Since you've had two fail on you before I thought you might be looking to upgrade since they it does not appear that they are compatible.
