Photoshelter - EZ Prints Billing error

Between 12/17/2009 through 12/22/2009 EZ Prints incorrectly charged your credit card the retail cost of the prints, rather than your regular wholesale cost. Your customers' orders were properly billed and shipped. This error is restricted to the wholesale cost billed to you. (You and your customers were billed the same amount.)
The fix:
We are working with EZ Prints to refund the difference between the retail and wholesale cost, ensuring that you receive the full profit for all orders impacted by this error. This is being handled right now by both PhotoShelter and EZ Prints and we anticipate the refund will be finalized by Tuesday 12/29/2009. All orders from 12/23/2009 are being processed correctly.

We recognize this is an inconvenience and the kind we try to avoid. We are working with EZ Prints to ensure this does not happen again.

I was just informed via e-mail that this error will not be corrected until Jan. 31.

So from my calculations, they are using funds from all the photographers that were incorrectly charged for more than a month before refunding that amount.

Does this impact or upset anyone else?

->> Well I just heard that the first e-mail I was sent was incorrect and that the Photoshelter support person should have typed Dec. 31 instead of Jan. 31.

But in checking my account, the money has not been credited, but it was a holiday weekend so hopefully it should show up.

I would recommend that all photogs who use photoshelter and had photo sales during the days listed above take a close look at your accounts.
