Pocket Wizard questions

->> I've been playing with the Pocket Wizard TT5/TT1 combination for a while now and just can't make it work reliably. I know they have some sort of fix available (a bag of some kind) but, I can't seem to actually get them so, I'm sending the units back and exchanging them for multimax's.
I really just want second curtain sync so, can anyone tell me if i can do this using a multimax as the sending unit and PlusII's as the receiving unit? Is there some sort of scheudle for programming the unit based on your shutter speed?
I'm also curious about an issue with the Plus II's I've had where the the flash does not fire with a plus II on the camera but when I press the test button, it fires every time, very frustrating. |

| ->> Are the flashes set to go to sleep ? I changed my time out time on the sleep function on the flashes so they would not have to be woken up by the wizards which causes the flash not to fire about half the time. |

->> I can't remember the page number but all the second curtain info is in the manual, and probably easier to understand if read in its entirety rather than as an edited cut and paste in case I miss something of importance.
