Thoroughbred Blogger Alliance Photo Contest

->> Let me start this out by saying this IS NOT a shameless plug to vote for me. Please don't. If you vote, look at the images and vote for the best ones.

I post this because the contest is for professionals and amateurs. Because I mostly do horse racing photography, I know who the pros and amateurs are. But, take a look, there are some seriously talented amateurs out there. The contest also highlights the fact that, just because you have great equipment and show up - it doesn't mean you can make a great image.

Take a look. I know, I know, I love horse photography. But, in a world where even Sports Illustrated will tell you, "Horse racing, nah, not even or our top 10 for sports," there are still some beautiful, storytelling images that can be made around the sport.

Hope you like them.
