Main one: How does getty control "all aspect of an industry, from production to distribution"? Last time I checked, I'm not competing with them most of the time. I have heard a little about them getting exclusive contracts for a major sporting event in Australia (cricket, maybe?), but they seem to work alongside everyone else in production. I also haven't seen them trying to control distribution very much, either... They just buy and sell, and have a more viable long term business model than some others; but are powerless to take over the multitude of little guys in photography.  This post is:  Informative (0) | Funny (0) | Huh?
